The position involves compulsory shift work.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will provide cleaning and housekeeping services throughout Heidelberg Hospital.
Duties will include:
Cleaning hospital wards, offices, corridors and boardrooms.
Sweeping, scrubbing, polishing and waxing floors.
Vacuuming and shampooing floor surfaces where required.
Dusting, cleaning and waxing furniture.
Cleaning walls, windows and doors.
Emptying and cleaning dustbins.
Collecting and removing waste paper.
Cleaning hospital kitchens.
Cleaning basins and other designated areas.
Cleaning and refreshing toilets and restrooms.
Refilling hand-wash liquid soap.
Replacing toilet paper and paper hand towels.
Preparing and arranging refreshments for meetings when required.
Filling and arranging water bottles for meetings.
Maintaining cleaning materials and equipment.
Reporting broken cleaning machines or equipment.
Filling and refilling cleaning trolleys.
Operating various cleaning machines where necessary.
Following applicable Ideal Hospital guidelines and hygiene standards.
Performing other lawful duties assigned by a supervisor that are related to the position.
